To promote strict professionalism, our QA programme has demanding entry criteria along with a stringent code of practise. The offices of potential new members undergo a comprehensive audit inspection to ensure that the company has a sound corporate identity and follows excellent working practise.

Constructionline is the Government's national register for suppliers. In the same way CHAS offers a tool for use in the health and safety element of pre-qualification, Constructionline provide the pre-qualification tool for use in financial standing, technical references and other areas. The CHAS management group supports the principles of a single register and so works jointly with Constructionline.

Following agreement by the then Department of Trade and Industry, CHAS and Constructionline formed a "mutual working agreement". this describes how we will work together to provide an improved services for buyers. You can get details of that agreement by contacting us.

Both CHAS and Constructionline have their own independence and identity but our schemes are linked.

Regardless of structure, memebers are required to take full responsibility for the purchase and application of the lead sheet under their control.

All members are required to work to the current Code of Practise (BS6915) and the recommendations of the Lead Sheet Association. An annual vetting programme provides rigorous quality control of members' standards, through compulsory on-site inspection of workmanship and design.
