The existing roof covering had failed. Fixings to the batten failure and tile shale had perished causing major slippage, the existing clay tiles were severely frost damaged and could not be reused. A mix of traditional Keymer clay tiles was chosen to keep the integrity of the roof and had provided an award winning example of clay tiling |
