| Southease Church Spire
One of only three round spires in Sussex. Deterioration and woodpecker damage to the existing shakes, wet rot to king beam. Upon investigation it was found that the structure needed extensive repair. The top of the king post was cut and new section spliced in to provide support for the rafters and fixing for a new weathervane. All timbers were treated and much of the original structure was preserved and then fixed. 24 carat gold was used to guild the weathervane and cardinal points. Code 5 lead was used to clad the cross
